Biography

I have been a Senior Lecturer in Medical Education at Edge Hill since 2019, when I retired from practice in the NHS. Prior to that I was an orthopaedic surgeon in the North-West of England, with a longstanding interest in medical education. As part of that interest I completed the MA in Clinical Education at Edge Hill, researching doctors’ expereince of reflection for my dissertation.

While at Edge Hill my main role has been Module Leader for CPD4707, the postgraduate clinical education module on educational supervision.
