I work on different programmes, including as a facilitator for the NPQ in Leading Primary Maths, as an Evidence Lead in Education, and with the University of Oxford on a number of EEF trials. I also work as a Work Group Lead for the Maths Hubs.
I have been an ECC Trainer for 16 years and in that time have supported dozens of schools and hundreds of Teachers and Teaching Assistants in delivering the hugely successful Maths Interventions. The fact that they are research- and evidence-based, and that Teachers and TAs receive subject knowledge and relevant PD, contributes to this success.

The impact the interventions have had over those years, and continue to have, has been amazing to be a part of. I love supporting schools, teachers, and pupils in implementing the programmes and seeing the impact they have.

Although all the interventions are fantastic, I particularly like the Becoming 1^stClass@Number programme as it supports the youngest children in achieving in maths.

My passion is the use of manipulatives to support deep conceptual understanding, short and long-term memory, and enjoyment and engagement in maths. I believe that all children can achieve in maths, and creating a culture to support this is crucial.
