I chose Edge Hill University because of its excellent reputation for PGCE programmes. The university is very welcoming to international students and has a great campus in a perfect location.

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I feel I was born to teach. Edge Hill University is the perfect place to start my career.

My experience studying at Edge Hill University has been amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the campus provides everything you could need. The teaching and learning environment is supportive, inclusive, and highly interactive, with a strong focus on practical experience and personalised feedback.

I received support from my personal tutor for both mental health and academic guidance. Their help allowed me to improve my assignments, develop professionally, and feel confident about my progress.

The campus community is vibrant and full of opportunities to get involved. Events such as the Global Café have been some of my most memorable experiences, helping me make great friends and connections. The Student Union is also a favourite spot for socialising and feeling part of the community.

The main challenges I faced were adjusting mentally in the first week. Taking time for myself helped, and I soon felt comfortable and settled.

Edge Hill University has helped me grow both personally and academically. I have developed strong connections with schools and trusts, gained confidence, and learned how to navigate the teaching system effectively. Placements were particularly valuable, allowing me to experience teaching firsthand and prepare for my career.

My advice to new students is to be yourself, get involved, and push yourself to be social. Engaging with the community will make your experience richer, and you will not regret it.

If I could describe my time at Edge Hill in one word, it would be Fabulous.
