Biography
Rachel has taught English and Classical Civilisation in the secondary and tertiary sectors, and now trains English teachers on the Secondary PGCE, and PGDE in Further Education.
Research Interests
Research interests focus upon the research engagement of teaching practitioners, using inclusive mixed-methods such as user-focused evaluation. Other areas of research are in social justice in education, particulary with regards to young carers.
Teaching
Rachel also leads the MA module ‘Exploring Teacher Knowledge’ as part of the several pathways available for current practitioners at Edge Hill University.
