Teaching

Since joining Edge Hill University in 2018, I have taught across Levels 3 to 6 on a range of undergraduate programmes, including BA (Hons) Teaching, Learning and Child Development; BA (Hons) Children’s Learning and Development; BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS; BA (Hons) Working with Children (5–11); BA (Hons) Children, Young People’s Learning and Development; and BA (Hons) Education. I am particularly committed to teaching educational research, supporting students to develop critical research literacy and an understanding of how evidence informs educational policy, practice, and professional decision-making. In addition, I supervise Master’s research projects, guiding postgraduate students through the design, implementation, and dissemination of independent research.
