My degree and experience at Edge Hill has enabled me to understand and prepare for the world of graduate enterprise.

My degree and experience at Edge Hill has enabled me to understand and prepare for the world of graduate enterprise. The varieties of skills and knowledge I have obtained, include self-confidence, job interview skills, and understanding culture and its relevance to career success.

I currently work part-time as a site rep for a recruitment agency. As my duties involve working with employees, it has permitted me to utilise the skills obtained on my degree such as employee management, leadership, understanding different cultures, the ability to listen and communicate with different employees with different needs, the ability to understand sustainability concepts and apply them, and understanding and handling workplace misbehaviours.

I would like to manage a national or global workforce as HR Manager. I have a passion for human resources and working with the human capital, improving employees’ quality of life through support and communication.

I also intend to expand my knowledge of modern foreign languages. Although I speak and understand Italian, I intend to add other foreign languages to my portfolio such as French, Spanish, and German.

My first piece of advice for prospective students is to develop a habit of studying frequently. Try to cover the weekly module information to avoid an accumulation of reading.

Secondly, attend lectures and seminars as much as you can. This will provide you with the information needed to prepare for coursework and assignments.
