As well as our thriving campus, we’re also lucky enough to have some amazing businesses right on our doorstep in Ormskirk.

Just a 10-minute walk away (or a free trip on our Edge Link bus), Ormskirk boasts a range of cafes, restaurants, bars and more for students to enjoy. So why not spend some time in Ormskirk and really get a feel for the local community while you’re here.

Bramley’s Coffee House

Bramley’s Coffee House is a family-run cosy casual coffee shop and restaurant serving wholesome breakfasts, light lunches, main meals and pastries. The café is owned and run by local people, using locally sourced produce creating high quality food.

The Bagel Deli

The Bagel Deli has been a neighbourhood staple since 2018 with a mission of spreading their love of incredible food and the finest ingredients as widely as possible. 

Owner Martin Fautley has a passion for baking and first discovered this love as a 14-year-old working in London’s Brick Lane making and serving customers fresh bagels.  His expertise has now found its way to Ormskirk

Ormskirk Market

Ormskirk Market is one of the country’s oldest and most traditional street markets, dating back to 1286, and takes place every Thursday and Saturday with up to 100 stalls right in the town centre.

Market stalls sell food, clothing, books, flowers, home furnishings and much more. So there really is something for everyone and there’s a buzzing atmosphere throughout the day.

Lockdown Ormskirk

Lockdown is an Escape Room venue in Ormskirk. You and your team-mates will be locked inside one of their game rooms for 60 minutes. Work together to solve puzzles, games and find the final solution to unlock the door and make your escape.
