Ceinwyn Cooper wins Early Career Researcher award

Ceinwyn Cooper received a national award in the 2023 UK Early Career Researcher Blood-Brain Barrier Annual Symposium.

Ceinwyn Cooper, who is undertaking her PhD studies under the supervision of Dr Aristides Tagalakis (DoS) and Dr Adjanie Patabendige (Supervisor), received a national award in the 2023 UK Early Career Researcher Blood-Brain Barrier Annual Symposium that took place on Friday 17 November. The 13th Annual Symposium was hosted at EHU by Dr Patabendige and was a great success. Ceinwyn had strong competition from PhD students from all over the country (UCL, Queen Mary University of London, University of Nottingham, Royal Veterinary College, University of Liverpool, Nottingham Trent University and University of Central Lancashire) and won the competition for the Early Career Researcher Lightening Talks. Ceinwyn came first in the votes of the Keynote Speakers and received her award that included a Diploma and a Monetary Prize. Dr Tagalakis and Dr Patabendige are delighted with this award that showcases the excellent research that is performed in their research groups.
