Our overall aim is to improve care of people locally, nationally, and internationally. We will achieve this by building on our core principles of high quality care for all and collaborative partnership. Improvements in health and social care are based on the cornerstones of research, innovation and education. High quality research drives evidence-informed innovation in care which is translated into changes in practice through education of those needing and delivering care.
