EHU Icon Panel block
Use this block if you want to include Font Awesome icons and text in a card or panel layout. You can optionally include subtext and a link for each icon.

Interrupting your studies
If you experience serious personal, medical or financial issues during your study, you can apply to interrupt your studies for a specific period of time.
Repeat a year of study
If you are a full-time student experiencing serious personal, medical or financial issues you may be able to apply to repeat the year on the same course, or repeat and transfer to a different course, you should seek advice from your Personal Tutor or department representative, to ensure you have explored all other options first.
Transferring your course or mode of study
If you've changed your mind about a module, a course or even your university, talk to us.
Modules
It is your responsibility to make sure that you are registered for the correct modules in accordance with your programme structure and you are advised to check your student record at the start of each semester, to ensure your record is correct.
Withdrawing
We want our students to experience the highest quality teaching and learning while at Edge Hill University. However, sometimes students may face personal or programme-related difficulties that affect their programme.
You don’t need to combine this block with columns to arrange several on a single row.
How to use this block
Text instructions
- Type “/ehu icon panel” and click to select the “EHU Icon Panel” block.
- Click the “Add Icon” button.
- Enter a Font Awesome icon code in the “Icon” field.
- Enter a suitable heading in the “Icon Title” field that will appear alongside or below your icon.
- Subtext that will appear beneath your heading should be added to the “Icon Subtitle” field.
- Enter a hyperlink in the “Link” field if required. If you’re linking to a page on our website, please be sure to use a relative URL rather than an absolute one. For example “/study/” rather than “https://www.edgehill.ac.uk/study/“.
- Add additional icons with the “Add Icon” button.
- In the “Block” sidebar on the right-hand side, use the “Panel” toggle to adjust the layout from a small buttons to a larger panel.
