Jimmy O'Gorman is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Development, Management and Coaching in the Department of Sport and Physical Activity at Edge Hill and a member of the Centre for Child Protection and Safeguarding in Sport (CPSS). His research and consultancy has informed the development of policy and practice of community and professional sport organisations, including The Football Association’s Charter Standard Programme for grassroots football clubs, The Football Association’s coach education provision, The Football Association’s Respect campaign and, The International Cricket Council of Europe’s participation strategy.
