Thinking, Story and Culture is an online research seminar series hosted by the Department of English and Creative Arts at Edge Hill University. Seminars take place monthly during the academic year, and features a mixture of external and internal speakers, and EHU PhD students. The series is convened by ECA Faculty members Dr Niall Gildea (English Literature) and Dr Elke Weissmann (Film and Television), and ECA PhD students Laura Cadwell and Liam Pope.

This seminar series seeks to explore, clarify, deepen, and sometimes create, connexions between the three terms in its title, with an emphasis on how theoretical and critical works amount, in their own right, to forms of storytelling.

If you are interested in finding out more about the seminar, please contact Niall Gildea at [email protected].
