Edge Hill PGR Palooza 2025: A One-Day Conference for Postgraduate Researchers (MRes and PhD).

Back for its second year, the PGR Palooza is a free, one-day research conference designed just for you. We know you’re eager for conference and networking opportunities, so this event provides a platform to showcase your research, develop key skills, and connect with fellow academics in a supportive environment.

The conference will be held on 1 May 2025, 10am-4pm in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine.

Why Attend?

  • Share Your Research – Present your work through a paper or poster presentation, gain valuable feedback, and refine your communication skills.
  • Develop Key Skills – Join workshops and discussions on essential researcher skills, from collaboration to impact and dissemination.
  • Learn from Others – Connect with peers at different stages of their research journey, share experiences, and gain insights to support your own progress.
  • Discover the PGR Community – See what our postgraduate researchers are working on and celebrate the diverse research taking place.
  • Expand Your Network – Connect with fellow PGRs, faculty, and industry professionals through interactive activities including Human Bingo – new for this year!

The focus is on PGRs but supervisors, academic staff and undergraduate students are encouraged to attend.
