Are you intrigued by the idea of inspiring the next generation as a geography or history teacher in secondary schools? Curious about fostering a passion for learning about the past, or an enthusiasm to explore the global challenges of the future?

Join experts from our Faculty of Education for an insight into our PGCE Secondary Geography with QTS (11-16) and our PGCE Secondary History with QTS (11-16).

• Take part in subject taster activities and learn what it’s like to be a PGCE student at Edge Hill
• Learn about careers in teaching geography and history in secondary schools
• Meet members of academic staff who will support you throughout your PGCE and find out how the course will prepare and equip you for a rewarding career in teaching

Arrival and registration from 2pm, for a 2.15pm start.

This event is suitable for those who already have an undergraduate degree, or are currently working towards one, and are interested in postgraduate teacher training. If you are not yet studying for an undergraduate degree, please take a look at our subject taster days for prospective undergraduate students instead.
