On Wednesday 14 May we mark the national day for operating department practitioners. Join us at either our Ormskirk campus or St James’ site in Manchester for a day of celebration for ODPs. As part of the day you’ll be able to:
- Discover insights into the profession and the ODP degree we offer here at Edge Hill.
- Take part in some taster activities.
- Whether your students have already settled on this profession or are thinking about options in healthcare this event will be a great opportunity to discover more about what it means to be an operating department practitioner.
Programme/Running order:
10am – Welcome & Refreshments
10:30am – Meet Academic Team and ODP Students
11am – 1pm Clinical skills and simulation demonstrations throughout the day
1:30pm – Opportunity for Q&A
2pm – Close
