If you’re aiming for a future in Medicine, this is your chance to step inside the world of medical training and experience what it’s really like to study at Edge Hill University.
Join us for a Medicine Discovery Day packed with hands‑on activities, expert guidance, and real insight into the journey to becoming a doctor.
You’ll take part in a carousel of interactive sessions, including:
- Medicine Subject Talk — Discover what studying Medicine involves, the skills you’ll develop, and what makes Edge Hill’s programme unique.
- UCAT & Application Advice — Get clear, practical guidance on preparing for the UCAT, understanding how it fits into your application, and making your UCAS submission stand out.
- Funding & Finance Talk — Learn about the financial support available for medical students and how funding works throughout the course.
- Clinical Skills & Simulation Centre Tour — Explore our high‑quality clinical skills and simulation facilities, where you’ll see the realistic environments and technology used to train future doctors.
You’ll also have the chance to:
- Chat one‑to‑one with academic staff about the course, careers in Medicine, and what it’s like to study here.
- Take a guided campus tour to experience our award‑winning facilities and student spaces.
- View selected accommodation, giving you a real sense of what living at Edge Hill could be like.
Whether you’re finalising your UCAS application or just beginning to explore Medicine as a pathway, this day will help you build confidence, deepen your understanding, and get inspired for the journey ahead.
Programme/Running order
- 9:00am – 10:00am: Registration and Check-In
- 10:00am – 11:30am: Carousel of activities
- 11:30am – 12:30pm: Lunch and Academic Drop-Ins
- 12:30pm – 3:00pm: Tour and Explore – Campus, Accommodation, and Admissions Drop-Ins

This event is for undergraduate Medicine students only, and runs from 10am to 3pm, with registration and check-in from 9am.
