Embracing discomfort and becoming an ally: creating an equitable landscape for staff and students

Delivered jointly by the Widening Access and Student Success Team and the Faculty of Education, this session will support attendees to consider how they can be an ally for students and staff who have lived experience different to their own. Drawing on their experiences, facilitators will discuss the importance of embracing the uncomfortable and positioning yourself in a space that you may not be familiar with, to best affect positive change in building inclusive pathways for all students and staff in Edge Hill.
