Our inaugural film, Rocks (2019), is a critically acclaimed British drama directed by Sarah Gavron. The film follows the journey of a teenage girl navigating friendship, resilience, and survival after being abandoned by her mother. With an authentic and diverse cast, Rocks offers a powerful exploration of race, identity, and systemic inequalities in contemporary Britain.
Followed by an open discussion on themes, messages and real-world impact of the film.
