The BA (Hons) Education degree is an innovative programme that offers a challenging and engaging course of study for anyone interested in education and critical debate. Education is concerned with understanding how people learn and develop throughout their lives, and examines education in the wider context of social, cultural and political domains. The degree programme will appeal to anyone with an interest in education in its broadest sense, and who is keen to study a rigorous, relevant, academic discipline. It offers the opportunity to study education critically through the academic disciplines of sociology, philosophy, history and psychology.

We offer innovative undergraduate routes into secondary teaching in English, Mathematics and Religious Studies, in collaboration with our partner institutions. All routes will allow students the opportunity to gain an honours degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

For further information, visit our Secondary website.
