What can I let you know about?

You can let us know if you are worried about another Edge Hill student, or you can complete the form for yourself if you would like support from the Mental Health & Wellbeing Team. We welcome referrals relating to a wide range of wellbeing, mental health and welfare concerns.

Examples of concerns you may have about yourself or another student include:

  • Feeling isolated or withdrawn, such as rarely leaving accommodation or avoiding contact with others.
  • Struggling to cope with university, work, relationships, or day-to-day life.
  • Experiencing difficulties with mental health or emotional wellbeing.
  • Self-harming or expressing thoughts of self-harm.
  • Feeling persistently low, anxious, overwhelmed, or distressed.
  • Being in an abusive or unhealthy relationship.
  • Excessive use of alcohol and/or drugs.
  • Significant changes in behaviour, mood, appearance, or personal hygiene.
  • Concerns about a student’s safety or wellbeing.
  • Behaviour that causes concern or makes others feel uncomfortable.

If you are unsure whether a concern is serious enough to share, we would encourage you to contact us for advice.
