Judith has been a primary teacher for many years. She has experience in delivering and running a number of interventions, but also in leading maths within schools and being part of Senior Leadership Teams as Assistant Head Teacher. In addition, she has worked as a Local Authority Maths Consultant. She is a Local Leader in Maths Education for the South Yorkshire Maths Hub and has worked with many schools in various capacities over the last 8 years to develop their maths offer.

Being an Every Child Counts trainer has enabled her to work with schools to really benefit individual children who are finding maths difficult. She enjoys seeing the effect the training and delivery of sessions has on participants; they invariably return to say how much they enjoy delivering the lessons, the children are making progress, and that the whole experience is positive and fun. Judith believes that from the Every Child Counts intervention training, Teaching Assistants and Teachers become more positive about children’s learning, and this has an impact more widely in the classroom.
