Thank you for joining us for our Virtual Postgraduate Open Evening. Whether you are just starting to research our courses, or have already applied, we hope this event will provide you with all the information you need to know.
Many of our postgraduate programmes are still open to applications for 2026 entry and this event will be suitable whether you are choosing to apply for this year, or looking to join us later down the line.
Where programmes are closed for 2026 entry, this will be indicated on individual coursepages and we would recommend using today’s event as a chance to look ahead to January or September/October 2027 start dates.
If you need assistance navigating the event at any point, we’re here to help via our livechat.
What’s on during the event?
Our experts are online throughout the event, ready to answer your questions and help you find out more about your postgraduate study options.
Meet those in the know to find out about your course(s) of interest. Our Graduate School is also available to answer any questions about our MRes and PhD study opportunities, including application advice. If you’re considering multiple courses, you can chat to as many different academics as you like.
The button above will take you to a new page where you can choose to join the relevant virtual chatroom for your subject area and find more information about how the video call will work before joining.
You can livechat with:
- Admissions – for queries about entry requirements, the application process and meeting offer conditions.
- Support teams – Money Advice, Fees and Bursaries and International are all available (see below for further information about our student support teams).
- Accommodation – for queries relating to accommodation options for postgraduate students (further information is available in the Accommodation section below)
You won’t need any specific software to chat, or a camera or microphone. Our experts will be available via an instant chat messenger, so you can simply type your queries to us.
Just click the button above to join and let us know who you would like to chat to.
If you just need general advice about postgraduate study at Edge Hill, chat to us to get answers to your questions.
Perhaps you’re not sure which type of study or course is right for you, have queries about the step up from undergraduate study, or about joining a course after time out of education? Maybe you’d like support with how to start writing a personal statement?
Whatever your query, or if you simply just want to talk through your options, we’re here to help.
Please note that if the team are busy in conversations with others, there may be a short wait in the lobby before you are admitted into the video call.
