Mitesh Salvi

Robotics is my dream, from childhood. I have always been very fond of electronics and automation. I was always curious how toys and gadgets worked, remote control cars, toys and computer mice never remained intact for long.

When shortlisting from many universities Edge Hill was top of my list. There were certain criteria I was looking for when making my university choice including the ranking of the university, the course structure and the accommodation offered.

There are many skills I have developed during my degree including global thinking, networking and teamworking. I am also really proud that I have developed my cooking skills whilst at university!

The most memorable moment of my degree so far was the first day when I entered Edge Hill University and came on to campus. My favourite place is the university library in the Catalyst building, it is an excellent place to enhance your knowledge.

My favourite thing about my degree is that the subject and the lessons are not just theoretical, but the practical element provides real field scenarios. The course is inline with industry requirements and the latest engineering developments.

When I graduate I would like to apply my learning to make human life more comfortable.

Edge Hill University is the best place for learning. I would recommend it to anyone considering to come here. The support and guidance has been excellent and as an international student I would like to add special thanks to the International Office.
