Thank you for joining us for our Virtual Postgraduate Open Evening. Whether you are just starting to research our courses, or have already applied, we hope this event will provide you with all the information you need to know.

Many of our postgraduate programmes are still open to applications for 2025 entry and this event will be suitable whether you are choosing to apply for this year, or looking to join us later down the line.

What’s on during the event?

Our experts are online throughout the event, ready to answer your questions and help you find out more about your postgraduate study options.

You can chat with:

  • Academic members of staff – find out more about your course(s) of interest. If you are considering multiple courses, you can chat to as many different academics as you like (click on the taught, research or teacher training tiles below to browse our courses).
  • The Graduate School – if you are considering a research degree, learn more about our MRes and PhD courses, including application advice.
  • Admissions – for queries about entry requirements, the application process and meeting offer conditions.
  • Support teams – Careers, Money Advice, Fees and Bursaries and International are all available (see below for further information about our student support teams).
  • Postgraduate students – get first-hand insight into further study from those currently studying with us.

Applications are still open for many of our courses starting in September/October 2025.

Applications for 2026 entry are expected to open around October for the majority of postgraduate taught and postgraduate teacher training programmes.

Please check individual course pages as some programmes have different start dates and application deadlines.

Accommodation

The majority of our postgraduate students live in private accommodation. There are plenty of locations to choose from nearby with easy access to campus via public transport links.
