Our accredited BSc (Hons) Accountancy degree provides a comprehensive insight into the principles, theories and concepts that underpin current accountancy practice and financial management.
Successful completion of this programme confers exemptions from the examinations of several professional bodies including the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
The fundamentals of accountancy are also introduced in the wider context of business and management practice on a dedicated Accounting and Finance pathway of our Business and Management degree.
When I started the course, I never dreamed I’d have two job offers lined up on graduation.
BSc (Hons) Accountancy
Not everyone goes to university straight from school. Sometimes after a taste of the working world and discovering the right career, it’s an opportunity to use that knowledge to plan your studies. It’s a strategy that’s worked out well for Edge Hill graduate Ben Gill, who now works as a tax advisor at one of the “Big Four” accountancy firms.

Open Days and Virtual Events
If you are considering studying at Edge Hill University, the best way we usually recommend to gain an insight into the student experience is to see our stunning campus for yourself by attending an open day.
Our August 2020 open day is going virtual. We will ensure that you can still discover everything that Edge Hill University has to offer and get answers to all of your questions. You will be able to find out more about accountancy and the University through a series of online activities.
We are continuing to take bookings for subsequent open days while monitoring government advice regarding events. We will communicate all key information to anyone who books to attend.Book your place at an open day or virtual open day
