Biography
Victoria Jamieson is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Early Years Education, teaching across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including both QTS and non-QTS pathways. Her teaching is informed by a deep commitment to critical pedagogies and relational, reflective practice.
Victoria’s research interests are grounded in social justice and education, with a particular focus on the philosophy of education, relational ethics, and critical approaches to curriculum and pedagogy. Her work explores how education can respond meaningfully to ethical, ecological, and social concerns in ways that challenge dominant discourses and open possibilities for transformation.
In addition to her teaching and research, Victoria is Chair of the University Education Research Ethics Committee (EREC) and is a member of the University Research Ethics Committee, contributing to the development of ethical research practice across the institution.
