Biography

Kurt joins Edge Hill from the University of Chester, where he served as Pro Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and Dean of the Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise. During his tenure, Chester Business School was awarded THE Business School of the Year and Educate North Business School of the Year in 2024, recognising excellence in business engagement and international student growth.

Previously, Kurt was Director of Keele Business School, where he played a significant role in driving regional growth and advancing the responsible leadership agenda. He brings extensive knowledge of the North West economy, having also held roles at the University of Salford, the University of Manchester, and the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).
