Biography
Dr Eleanor Peters is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology. She graduated from the City of Birmingham University with BA (Hons) Sociology and has a PhD from the University of Bristol. She has worked for many years as a researcher in the voluntary sector and in local government. She is the author or co-author of a number of publications on youth justice, parenting, social care issues and drug use. Eleanor is currently researching the connection between music and crime. Eleanor is the Director of the Philosophy, Culture, Law & Criminology (PCLC) Research Unit. Eleanor welcomes applications from prospective MRes/PhD students in areas related to cultural criminology, especially music related; youth justice, feminism and rights.
