LinkedIn Learning provides Edge Hill University Students with full and unlimited access to thousands of high-quality online courses and video tutorials written by industry experts.

The courses cover many topics including using a wide range of software, and personal development skills like education, public speaking, and employability.

Accessing LinkedIn Learning

Access LinkedIn Learning via the LinkedIn Learning website or using the LinkedIn Learning iOS app or Android app.

It is really easy to set up your LinkedIn Learning account by visiting LinkedIn Learning, clicking ‘sign in’ and entering your Edge Hill University email address when prompted.

Follow the additional instructions displayed on-screen, including the option to connect your LinkedIn Learning account to your LinkedIn profile, then explore all the thousands of free videos and resources.

Using LinkedIn Learning

Searching

Once logged in, use the search box at the top to search for topics, or click on Library to access more subjects. Once you have searched, you can narrow down your list by skill level, or other filters.

Watching courses and videos

Click on any course to begin watching. Watch through the entire course or click on individual videos to just watch specific sections. Within each course is an overview, a transcript, and if relevant, exercise files to work through as you watch the course.

Claim your certificates

Once you have watched an entire course, you will get a certificate which you can print off or display digitally on your LinkedIn profile.

Privacy notice

When you create an account with LinkedIn Learning, you will be sharing your Edge Hill username with the LinkedIn Corporation.

Your data is securely stored on the servers and may be transferred to and stored at a destination outside the European Economic Area. More details about how your information is used by LinkedIn can be found in their Privacy Policy.

Within the University, information about usage may be used for analytics and reporting on the uptake of LinkedIn.
