The assessment policy is aimed to ensure that the process supports students in their learning. This is in addition to making a contribution to the monitoring and quality assurance of learning and providing the grading that will contribute to the degree classification. It is aimed to make the assessment processes transparent and to indicate how reasonable adjustments can be considered to support learners with disabilities. Module and programme handbooks will contain further details of the assessment processes that students will experience.
