Climate Resilience Framework (2025–2031)

Part of: Sustainability

The Climate Resilience Framework (2025–2031) is a strategic document developed for Edge Hill University to embed climate resilience across governance, operations, and culture.

The framework provides a structured approach to preparing for, responding to, and recovering from the impacts of climate change, ensuring the long-term safety of the University’s community, assets, and mission. It outlines key components such as governance and leadership structures, climate risk assessment processes, adaptation measures for infrastructure and operations, biodiversity strategies, capacity building through training and community engagement, and mechanisms for monitoring and continuous improvement. It also details roles and responsibilities, communication plans, and integration with existing university processes like business continuity and emergency planning.
