Our research impacts on policy and practice, whether in Knowledge Transfer Partnerships or in other forms of collaboration, on local, regional, national and international levels.
Our performance in the UK’s Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014) established Edge Hill as the most improved institution since the previous census of research activity in 2008, and more than half of our research was classed as ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’ in the most recent REF 2021.
