In collaboration with Shaping Futures, our conference for those who support care experienced and estranged students will take place on Friday 20 March from 10am until 2:30pm. The conference offers space to reflect on the barriers care experienced and estranged students face, along with advice and guidance around the support that enables them to thrive.
Through keynotes, presentations and workshops, this year’s programme focuses on mental health, the student experience and the value of collaboration across different sectors. Attendees will hear from practitioners and students on these three key areas and will have the opportunity to strengthen their networks around care experienced and estranged young people, who often navigate university life without traditional support.
The conference is designed for anyone who supports care experienced and estranged students, whether that be local authority work, education or community support.
The event is free to attend, and lunch will also be provided for all attendees.
