Consultancy
Introduction
The Faculty of Education has a large and well qualified staff, many of whom are experts in their particular field. This expertise is the result of combining many years proven professional experience at a relatively high level with the reflective, scholarly and research informed approach that is expected of all Faculty academic staff.
Some Faculty members maintain active consultancies in their field, whilst others are available to contribute to the work of the evaluation unit through the Faculty register of expertise.
A number of schools, designated Training Centres, work in enhanced partnership with the Faculty and bring through this partnership the expertise of currently serving teachers and other education staff.
Consultancy and evaluation are overseen by the Faculty’s Business Development Manager who works in close collaboration with the Faculty’s Head of Research to ensure that all consultancy and evaluation work is informed by a scholarly approach and the critical application of the latest research findings.
