Clearing provides you with an opportunity to secure a place on an Edge Hill University programme starting in September. Whether you’ve already applied through UCAS or not.

You may have decided to go to university after the initial UCAS deadline, changed your mind about where to study, or not quite got the grades you needed. Whatever your circumstances, clearing allows you a second chance to join us as an Edge Hill student on a course suited to you.

On A Level results day, Thursday 15 August 2024, you will be able to view our available courses through Clearing and apply directly with us.

Our team will be working through various applications, and we will aim to get back to you as soon as we can. In most cases we will be able to provide instant decisions to your application.

The easiest way to apply is to call us or apply online when applications open on Thursday 15 August 2024. Access for applications will be made available on this page when Clearing begins.

If you need guidance from our team on the day, our phone line will be open from 8am and will close at 6pm.

You can apply through Clearing with us after this date if you need longer to decide. Applications close on the Monday 21 October 2024 but we advise getting in touch as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

All of our courses will be listed on our Clearing courses page when they become available on Thursday 15 August 2024.

When discussing your options with our Clearing Team, they will ask you about if you want to live in on-campus accommodation. If yes, they will transfer you through to our Accommodation Team who will be happy to talk you through your options.
