MA Voluntary and Third Sector Management
This unique and innovative MA Voluntary and Third Sector Management Programme has been designed to allow students to demonstrate management skills, entrepreneurship and the ability to work within partnerships, while delivering professional services in the voluntary and third sector.
The course is a flexible programme that was developed in conjunction with the voluntary and third sector in Lancashire. It is designed to build capacity within the sector as the individual management modules develop and improve specific skills sets.
The learning is delivered by a mixed media approach and explores different kinds of organisation and management techniques. This course is taught by a team with considerable expertise in conducting research, working with the voluntary and third sector and teaching to Masters level.
The programme is particularly suited to existing managers, board members or volunteers that have experience in managing within the sector or those who expect to have managerial duties in the near future.
