At Edge Hill, our unique work-placement module is the centre piece of a degree that provides you with carefully structured training in historical knowledge and skills, from the Crusades to digital media history, opening up a world of future careers.

History students are based in the Geosciences building. The contemporary facilities combine with a friendly and supportive learning environment to ensure that your studies are a rich and rewarding experience.

The Geosciences building features a large lecture theatre, small group teaching rooms, IT facilities and smaller tutorial spaces. There is also a large social area which encourages a more informal and interactive style of learning.
