Listen, empathise and provide support that shapes lives. We’ve designed our BA for students who already know they want to qualify as a therapist. And our BSc opens up wider opportunities by diving into the political and social context of counselling.

We’ll help you explore theories, policies and practice, and you’ll also spend time testing your abilities. On our BA you’ll have the chance to offer therapy sessions to real clients. Whatever your ambition, you’ll be ready to make a difference in a variety of settings, from hospices to charities, prisons to private healthcare. We’re 1st in the North West for learning community (National Student Survey 2022 – Counselling, psychotherapy and occupational therapy).

On this page you’ll find 360 tours of our facilities, videos and features to give you an insight into what it’s like to study Counselling and Psychotherapy at Edge Hill.
