From the first semester, you’ll start experiencing clinical settings and learn how to work as part of a team of health professionals. Once you’ve graduated, register with the General Medical Council – a globally recognised body. Apply your skills to positions in general practice, psychiatry or acute care.

Facilities
Medicine is part of Edge Hill University’s Medical School and is based in the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine building. The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine offers outstanding facilities for the education and training of health and social care professionals. The contemporary teaching and learning resources include leading edge clinical skills facilities, an 860-seat lecture theatre, and a variety of teaching rooms and social learning spaces.
You’ll also spend plenty of time in our Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre. With some of the best hands-on learning facilities in the country, our Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre is a safe space to apply your skills to a range of different challenges.
