Postgraduate Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre

Our MA Collaborative Performance Practice enables performing arts graduates and practitioners to develop devising, choreographic and performance practice skills as part of a vibrant creative community.

The course will immerse you in group and ensemble performance, as well as solo practice. You will gain a comprehensive insight into the progression of ideas from the initial devising process through to performance, and have the opportunity to make valuable connections across the creative industries.

While our taught postgraduate course immerses you in performance research, you can also interrogate performance research in depth on our MRes Masters by Research or PhD Doctor of Philosophy.

I was lucky enough to go to New York, funded by the Student Opportunity Fund. It was a six day trip and we were given the chance to perform at a Global Arts conference in Brooklyn.

My tutors have been very helpful when I have struggled. I have had tutorials and spent 1:1 time with my tutor to go through my work.

I didn’t think I would be making props out of recycled materials or dyeing costumes with onions. Sustainable theatre was something I’d never had the chance to explore before.
