To make the world a better place. Start in the right place. Join us at one of our open day events in Manchester to learn what it takes to study, and work, as an operating department practitioner or paramedic.

If you’re interested in studying our BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice or BSc (Hons) Paramedic Practice degrees in our Manchester city centre location, our open events at St James’ are for you.

The staff who will be teaching you, and those who will support you throughout your operating department practice or paramedic practice studies, are on hand to answer any questions.

Paramedic Practice is available to study at St James’, but you’ll also need to attend our campus in Ormskirk for a variety of sessions.

You can apply to study Operating Department Practice at the Edge Hill University campus or St James’. Both courses also involve placements across Greater Manchester and the North West of England. We’ll try, where possible, to place you in a Trust near to where you live.
