Exhibitions and study fairs

We understand that choosing the right university is a big decision. We’ve been helping students like you set out on their higher education journey since 1885. Come and talk to us at a university exhibition or study fair, held across the country, this year.

Edge Hill University Higher Education Exhibition

Student vising stand at Higher Education fair

Our next higher education exhibition will be held on Wednesday 25th September 2024 at our Ormskirk campus. This free event is aimed at Year 12/13 and Access to HE Diploma students. As well as representatives from different universities, apprenticeship providers and employers from around the UK, you will also be able to attend optional information talks on choosing a university, UCAS, personal statements and student finance, as well as tours around our award-winning campus led by our current students.

UCAS Exhibition and UK University Search Fairs

University exhibitions and fairs, often organised by UCAS or UK University Search, provide an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn about the universities you’re interested in.

These exhibitions could be held at an arena, university campus or football stadium, meaning you’ll find hundreds of universities under one roof. You’re likely to find one close to where you live too, making it a great way to start your university research.

Our team of experts at Edge Hill attend most of these exhibitions in England, Wales and Northern Ireland throughout the year. But if you can’t travel to one, we also attend fairs organised independently by colleges, schools and other organisations.

We know there is a lot to fit in at one of the large study fairs, so we’ve put together a guide to help you think about planning your day and the questions you might want to ask.

Postgraduate study fairs

Study fairs aren’t only for your first journey into higher education.

If you’re thinking of continuing your studies as a postgraduate student, you will be able to speak to one of our advisors on a one-to-one basis at postgraduate study fairs.

These events provide a great opportunity to find out more about the range of Master’s degrees, research degrees and PGCEs and Postgraduate Teacher Training courses available at Edge Hill University.

You will be able to discover which of our courses might be most suitable for a particular career path, find out more about our postgraduate entry requirements and application process, and get answers to any questions you may have.
