Overview

A lecturer addresses a group of students during a field trip.Our Religion degrees will stimulate your curiosity about religious cultures, immerse you in the theology of religious traditions, and assess the social and cultural impact of religion in the contemporary world.

Whether you are religious or non-religious, our inclusive programmes will empower you to explore religion through both individual and collective identities, as well as examining non-religious expressions of spirituality.

You can choose to focus exclusively on Religion or combine Education and Religion on a dedicated joint honours degree.

Housed in a state-of-the-art £9m building, the Faculty of Education’s facilities include a 300-seat lecture theatre, five well-equipped ICT suites, and 18 teaching rooms complete with the latest technology.

The faculty has a strong commitment to practice-based learning and has developed partnerships with over 2,000 schools and colleges, local authorities and professional associations.

Open Days

You can tour the campus, including the halls of residence, with a student guide. There will also be opportunities to attend presentations and view subject facilities.

Alternatively, if you are unable to attend an open day, we offer a range of other events for prospective students, including monthly campus tours.
