Whether you’re a music and sound enthusiast, a singer, conventionally trained musician or an aspiring composer, our Music Production degree encompasses all aspects of the practice and theory of music composition, production and performance.
You can gain competency in the use of physical and virtual music making instruments and immerse yourself in songwriting, as well as the composing, arranging and recording of music.
Studying a variety of music genres, you will develop expertise in music technology and electronic music interaction, and also master the techniques required for the effective distribution of music.
You can gain inspiration for your future career in music production by listening to some of the work of current and former Edge Hill Music students, Charity Shop Pop and Podge. Charity Shop Pop’s latest release, Quarantine, tries to make you smile in uncertain times.
