Fashion, tourism, consumer goods – marketing is essential to all sorts of industries. Here at Edge Hill, you’ll focus your creativity on real-life projects, placements and competitions to develop the skills employers are looking for. With a mix of theory and practical work, you’ll design campaigns, learn about strategies and master digital skills to succeed in this fast-paced area of business.

Develop integrated brand campaigns, learn about marketing strategies and discover the latest digital marketing techniques. Here at Edge Hill, you’ll experience an exciting mix of theory and practical work. Working on real-life projects, you’ll hone your creative and analytical skills and find out how they apply in a range of industries.

But you’ll be more than a marketing student. We’ll welcome you into our Business School community too – that means you’ll have access to £8m of resources. Study in modern seminar rooms, work on group projects in meeting rooms and even read on our roof garden.

Careers are a big part of our courses. You can take a 48-week paid work placement and get help setting up your own business. We organise regular networking opportunities and encourage you to enter your work into national student competitions. And to help your CV stand out even more, you can get the opportunity to interact with the Chartered Institute of Marketing so you’ll be one step closer to being a qualified professional.

Your marketing knowledge will be useful in everything from retail to manufacturing. Past students have gone on to roles as diverse as product development, media production, web design, branding and sales.

Facilities

Students read newspapers while sat in the foyer of the Business School.The stunning £8m Business School building provides state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities for Advertising and Marketing students.

The three-storey building offers a 100-seat lecture theatre and modern seminar and meeting rooms.

There are also social learning areas which encourage a more informal and interactive style of learning, in addition to an attractive roof garden and atrium.
