Postgraduate Sociology and Social Sciences

On our MA programmes you can investigate the abuse and maltreatment of children and other athletes in sports environments, or discover how discourses of autism shape autistic people’s lived experiences.

Whichever of these specialist courses you choose, you will have opportunities to gain practical experience and enhance your employability, such as through work-based learning and an international field trip.

If you’re looking for a shorter course, we also offer a PGCert Social Sciences (Critical Autism Studies).

Alternatively, if you want to focus on a particular aspect of social sciences in depth, our MRes Masters by Research or PhD Doctor of Philosophy provide opportunities to do so.
