Courses
If you want to immerse yourself in film, media and the cultural industries, our postgraduate Media programmes are for you.
MA Film and Media interrogates key theories across the twentieth century, with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as transnational media, European cinema and screen genres.
Gaining expertise in key research methods in media, film and cultural studies, you will have the opportunity to explore the relationship between media, culture and sexuality and assess the links between cinema, history and national identity.
Alternatively, if you’re looking to gain hands-on experience of working in the cultural industries, our MA International Creative Enterprise combines the study of critical approaches to media and culture with real-world creative enterprise.
You will gain a unique insight into culture, creativity and entrepreneurship by exploring film and TV, theatre, museums, galleries, publishing and the music industry. The course includes an international field trip and a work placement in the cultural industries.
You can also interrogate key film and media theories in depth on our MRes Masters by Research.
