Our postgraduate study options will allow you to open doors to change and the research you will be involved in paves the way for a better future.

Our LLM Artificial Intelligence, Digital and Cyber Law will teach you how to understand and regulate cyberspace and the world of AI. Discover how to regulate digital financial crime and serious organised crime online. Explore the rules relating to AI, digital platforms and develop specialist knowledge of online regulations and governance.

Our LLM SQE/Legal Practice will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to sit the Solicitors’ Qualification Exams (SQE) to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales. Develop a comprehensive knowledge of legal rules and practise with our high-level Masters qualification.

You’ll graduate from our postgraduate degrees with a range of transferable legal and personal skills including communication (oral and written), research, critical analysis, time management, teamwork, and applied problem solving. You’ll be ready for roles needing responsibility, independent working, strong communication and flexibility.

Alternatively, you can interrogate a variety of aspects of law in depth on our MRes Masters by Research or PhD Doctor of Philosophy.

Facilities

The £6m Law and Psychology building provides contemporary teaching and learning facilities for students in the School of Law, Criminology and Policing.

The three-storey building includes a 250-seat lecture theatre, seminar and tutorial rooms, and social learning areas which encourage a more informal and interactive style of learning.

Elsewhere on campus, there is a mooting room (a mock courtroom) and the EHU Police Training and Simulation Facility, part of which is furbished as a police station, which simulates a wide range of crime scenes.
