The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) have announced that they will award A Level grades on the basis of teacher assessment (Centre Assessed Grades (CAGs)), if those grades are higher than the calculated grades you were awarded on 13 August 2020.
If your place with us has already been confirmed (Unconditional Firm offer) you do not need to do anything further. We will receive your revised grades from UCAS in due course. We will automatically reassess your new grades to see whether they meet the eligibility criteria for our High Achievers Scholarship.
If your place to study with us has not yet been confirmed, we recommend that you speak to your school or college to determine what you need to do to apply for your grades to be amended. We expect to receive revised grades from UCAS but we have not yet had clarification about when the information will arrive with our Admissions team. If you haven’t already done so, please complete our online appeal form to let us know you are appealing your original grades.
We cannot reconsider your application until you are in receipt of your final grades from the relevant exam board. Once you receive notification of your final grades, please contact our Admissions team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will reconsider your application if there is availability on your course.
Some of our courses have a strict limit on the number of applicants we are able to enrol (for example physical restrictions on campus, funding and availability of professional placements etc) which may result in no places being available to start in 2020. If this is the case, we may offer you a deferred place to start in 2021. Please contact email@example.com for further information.
