Open the door to your accommodation and a world of opportunity.

We’ve made substantial investments in our accommodation in the last few years, and aren’t stopping yet. This means we aim to provide a room in our halls of residence for you, and all first-year, full-time undergraduate students who want to live on campus.

Our undergraduate offer guarantee

We want to make your application process as stress free as possible.

All you need to do is make Edge Hill your first-choice university and we’ll guarantee you a place in our halls for Year 1 of your course. All new first year undergraduate students, from the UK and EU, starting full-time in September 2022 are eligible.

Don’t forget: You must submit your application for accommodation and accept a conditional firm or unconditional firm offer before 31 July 2022 to guarantee yourself a room.

How do I apply for a room in halls?

Applying is easy. We’ll provide you with all the information you need to apply to our halls of residence. Simply follow these three steps:

Apply – submit your application to become a student with us.

Accept – firmly accept your offer from Edge Hill University.

Accommodation – we’ll send you an email with instructions on applying for halls.

How are rooms allocated?

We will contact you by email after the application deadline of Sunday 31 July 2022 to confirm your room booking arrangements.

If you accept your offer of a place at Edge Hill after the July deadline, we may need to prioritise the allocation of the remaining rooms. This happens if demand is high and the decision is based on factors like the distance from your home to the University. Priority being given to care leavers, disabled students with additional requirements, and international students.
